TRX-4 Sport Installation Guides
KNOW THE JOB BEFORE YOU OPEN THE BAG.
How RCGarageX installation guides are organized
Each tested product page is designed to show the required tools, estimated time, difficulty, included hardware, additional parts, and important fitment checks before checkout.
Before installation
- Confirm the exact TRX-4 Sport model, body, wheelbase, wheels, and previous modifications.
- Read the complete guide and compare all included parts with the packing list.
- Work on a clean, well-lit surface and organize removed hardware.
- Disconnect the battery before working near electronics or moving drivetrain parts.
During installation
- Do not force a fastener that does not start cleanly.
- Use the correct driver size to avoid damaging screw heads.
- Apply thread-lock only where the guide specifies it and keep it away from plastics and bearings unless the product instructions say otherwise.
- Check free steering, suspension travel, driveline rotation, and wire clearance before driving.
After installation
Test at low speed, listen for binding, and recheck fasteners after the first short run. Reinspect tire rub, steering endpoints, temperatures, and unusual wear. Stop if the truck binds or behaves unexpectedly.
